n 2006, I came to Green Gulch Farm Zen Center thinking a three month stay was radical and would be enough to establish a meditation practice for life. I left seven years later. To find a community of like-minded renunciants was more of an enlightenment experience than I could ever hope to have had. Green Gulch, Tassajara, and the San Francisco Zen Center are true miracles and changed my life utterly.

 

I am now happily living with two other miracles, my wife and son, in "the world", but I'm a monk in hiding. I have a bit of a sitting problem.

I think people are good. I see so much love everywhere I go. I think life is best enjoyed dropped in. There is a feast in front of us everyday. I hope we can take it.
